CAN STABLE WEIGHT INCREASE LONGEVITY?

Researchers from the University of California at San Diego studied almost 55,000 post-menopausal women and found that those who maintained a stable weight after the age of 60 were more likely to celebrate their 90th birthdays.

This study can be found in the Journal of Gerontology: Medical Sciences and a synopsis in medicalnewstoday.com.

Of course, living to the ripe old age of 90 and enjoying that experience are two different things. However, the study seems to suggest that maintaining a good, stable weight would promote better health.

You be the judge!
